Who's going to be our point guard as well as who we'll have step up off the bench is going to be a key. (But) we've got a good foundation to build around.

That was the first game we played about 28 really good minutes of basketball. It's probably the game that got us into gear.

It's tough to simulate her quickness in practice. She's so quick, and we're not real quick. She sliced and diced us inside.

We didn't have good patience on offense. We didn't execute well or take advantage of getting it inside. We had good looks from the outside; we just didn't knock the shots down.

We rested on last year's laurels. Other teams came right at us and we did not respond to that.

I think Brooke really stepped up her game in mid January (and) Andrea put in a ton of time in the off-season and played with the confidence of someone who put in that time.

We changed her free-throw shooting style because she'd been struggling from the line last year and was afraid to take it inside. She wasn't afraid to get fouled this year.

We were 12 of 13 on free throws in the fourth quarter. That was huge.

When we played team ball we played well. When we had patience on offense our outside shots opened up our inside game, and on some nights our inside game opened up the outside. Teams had to pick their poison against us.
