"Wasim Akram" is a former Pakistani people/Pakistani cricketer. A genuine left arm fast bowling/fast bowler who could bowl with significant pace who represented the Pakistan national cricket team in Test cricket and One Day International (ODI) matches. In October 2013,Wasim Akram was the only Pakistani cricketer to be named in an all-time Test World XI to mark the 150th anniversary of Wisden Cricketers' Almanack.

Akram is regarded as one of the greatest fast bowlers in the history of game. He holds the world record for most wickets in List A cricket with 881 and is second only to Sri Lanka national cricket team/Sri Lankan off-spin bowler, Muttiah Muralitharan in terms of ODI wickets with 502. He is considered to be one of the founders and perhaps the finest exponent of Reverse swing#Reverse swing/reverse swing bowling.

Bangladesh have shown they have the talent and ability to play against any side in the world if they apply themselves, as they did (on the first day). It was a dream start.

He is looking good and I think he'll be a handful for the Indians if we prepare pitches with some carry and bounce for the Tests. He is a pure match-winner and he can win matches for you. I think he'll be a vital player in the coming series.

I think they've shortened his starting point and have brought about a slight reduction in his run-up. But I don't think he can reduce it anymore than what he has already done.
