We've been a little inconsistent defensively. And we really hadn't put four quarters together until the Unity game (a 68-59 win). Once they realize what it takes defensively, and how to go the whole game, we have a chance, just a chance, to be as good as the (2002) team that went to state.

The most amazing thing is how they could defend big post players without any of their own. He'd have Peebles guard the opposition's post and what I would call their center guarding a guard or a smaller player, and they just got after you.

Wes hit two 3's, and (Zack) Boyd finally hit one from the corner, and boy it goes up quick when that happens.

We were fortunate to get out of here with a win. We were lucky. We're going to have to find a way to win without Blair (Dunn, a sharp-shooting guard who's out until at least next week with mono).
