I think they're more anxious to get in there and see what they can do against them rather than be tentative because they think a veteran corner will jump them.

It's good to have them out there, ... It shows them that with hard work even if you go to MTSU you can still make it.

I just couldn't really get to it, ... I had to elongate my arms and I couldn't really get to it. It was a tip, then a collision. Then they were running with it. I thought it was a fumble or something, but they got it.

I can do everything on the field (that I did before). Now, it's just a matter of getting my wind up under me. I couldn't do all the running the rest of the guys did this off-season because I was doing all the rehab.

My first year, he'd miss tons of practices and still come out and play good.

Now it is time just to show what I can do out there on the field, make plays and show everybody ... and step into the spotlight where Drew was at.

The first part of having surgery, that first week, was depressing because I knew I was done for the whole season. There were no ifs, ands or buts coming back early, you were done. It was hard the first couple of months watching the guys (play).

Doing its job protecting my knee right now.

It's probably more mental than anything else.
