"John Tye Hill" is an American former college and professional American football/football cornerback who played in the National Football League (NFL) for five seasons. He played college football for Clemson University, and earned consensus All-American honors. He was drafted by the St. Louis Rams in the first round of the 2006 NFL Draft. He has also played for the Atlanta Falcons, Tennessee Titans, and Detroit Lions.

All those players were exceptional. And if Justin (Miller) came back, I think we would have been all-world in the secondary. Unfortunately, things happened the way they did, and we've got to build with what we've got. But that is a thought, what could have been.

I believe I showed the NFL all I can in the Senior Bowl and the combine. (But) this is a job interview. You've got to do what you've got to do to get where you want to go, and where I want to go is the NFL.

We want to finish the season ranked in the top 20. If we do that, the air is thin. There aren't too many people up there. To be a part of that elite group, that would mean a whole lot for us and the seniors and the fans.

It gives us opportunities to really play. For me, I can just sit back and really read what's going on, and I have an opportunity to make plays.

He plays with great enthusiasm, and I think he's gonna be one of the best players. As long as he sticks with it and (doesn't) get mad (and say), 'Hey, I'm getting beat.' Because you're gonna get beat.
