I didn't do it alone. Coach Boots put me in a position to be successful. He always made sure I was utilizing my strengths and my teammates always helped me out. Throughout my career, we had a great inside-outside combination.

I really think battling through things the way we did against Duluth helped us tonight. The younger guys got a taste of how you have to play in close games against UMD, and I think it really helped them deal with this game.

I was in shock when Coach (Dave) Boots told me about it. It's an amazing honor. There are so many good players in the nation. I still can't believe it.
