I knew that I'm fast, but I've never timed myself so I didn't know how fast. The 100 is my favorite race because it's quick and intense.

They always have a good team and always have a good program. Our goal is to (play defensively) like we did tonight, have fun and play hard.

I look at (my athleticism) as a God-given gift, so I want to use it. I've worked hard to improve my outside shooting and I think it's paid off. I'm playing well and my team's winning, so I'm happy.

Our goal is to go out and shut opponents down on the offensive end. Good defense creates offense.

I wanted to do something different to stay in shape for basketball and I finally decided to give track a try because I thought it would be fun. I wasn't sure of what I'd be capable of doing, but I started off jumping around 19-0 and the coaches told me I could be real good.

Jason's always been the biggest and tallest (6-foot-5) of us, and playing with him and the other older kids made me tougher around the edges. I've always been competitive with Travis, and we've pushed each other to get better our whole lives.

I want to give all I can give to my team so we can win the OCC and finish with another winning record. This isn't the end of the road for me playing basketball, either. I'm planning on playing basketball at the next level. I'm just not sure where it will be yet.

It was a big boost of confidence to be a starter. Our team had a winning record and I showed what I can do when I play up to my potential.
