It's real hard to practice because you don't go live in practice, but we do wrap and do thud drills. You just have to work on it, and then in games it's natural.

What happened (against Boise State) shows a lot. The way we came back and the way the offense marched the ball and scored. I don't think there is a limit. We can be in contention for the whole thing.

The composure he showed, it wasn't really a huge surprise, but it was a surprise because we had never seen him in that situation. What he showed definitely impressed us.

We played good enough to win in the first quarter. We just played awful after that.

We've played some very good teams early on, which is good because we'll continue to get better.

They've got an offense a lot like Boise State's. It's complex. They're a big-play team; you've just got to limit that.

Especially with the young secondary, he's going to have to be the guy to take over as the mental guy now that Mitch is gone. He's going to have to help Lamar and the corners out.

It was exciting. The fans were crazy and it was good and it was nice to see. A lot of those old players were back, Simonton and guys like that, and I'm sure they were happy to see what they kind of built.
