We hit the ball. We've been off since a week ago Saturday, and we practiced yesterday for the first time, and we're getting the rust off.

We didn't deserve to win. We didn't play hard enough to win. This team is living on last year and until we find our own identity we are probably going to take a few more losses.

Frazier hit a home run, but we came back and matched it up. Anytime they score and you can come back and match it, it lets you know the kids are focused on what they need to be doing.

Sometimes kids don't handle change well. When they saw who was starting (Curry), our team just relaxed and went through the motions.

We finally decided to play. Those first three innings, we were as flat as a pancake. It was a hot day. I was hot just sitting in the dugout. I think it took us a while to shake the heat off.

There won't be many changes at all. We'll do whatever the kids are capable of doing.

Hunter did a really good job. Sometimes he's doing so well and he kind of coasts and he starts just throwing instead of pitching. After (Frazier) hit the home run, I think he turned loose a bit more. Sometimes, things like that need to happen to him to keep him focused.

I have some big shoes to fill. I am looking to hit it head on. Greenland has had a lot of success and I am excited.

West Fork got up on us early in the first, and that's typical of us and them. They're going to battle us every step. I was kind of worried about how we'd do, but we came back and put four on the board. When we're responding, that helps.
