You just can't go out there and walk 12 guys. That is not the way to win.
The team we have right here, we're going to be real competitive and I expect us to finish strong. We've got some speed, we've got some power, we've got veteran guys out there who know how to play the game and are hungry to get back to the big leagues.
I think as he develops, he's going to be a top-notch major league hitter. I think he'll be a guy with power, great on-base percentage and can drive in runs.
He's an extra guy, who'll hopefully make a contribution.
I'm really happy with the way we battled back. That is what we are looking for and hopefully it will be the spark we need.
We had it down to the last out with the winning run at the plate and the guy you would want up. I couldn't ask for more than that. That is the game, you think you have home-field advantage, and we played great at home all, year but something happened.
It's been very frustrating for Bobby, I know that. That month he had was incredible. I don't think I ever saw somebody have a hot streak like that. But he's also had those injuries.
It is hard to lose any game like this but you have to hand it to our guys, they never quit. I couldn't be prouder of the guys.
It's nice that we clinched early. But you'd want to have momentum by going on a good run to close the season.
