It worked a little. We were able to slow down the tempo a little and deflect a few balls, but it wasn't as good as I would have liked. We need to be more aggressive. But most good teams are able to break presses. We really need to be able to dig in defensively as a team.

I think we have to show up ready to play. We need to play a whole game, not just one half like we did against Norwell. I don't know if it's fatigue or what, but we can't seem to play two good halves in a row.

We sent our two-guard deep and got some easy baskets. Our man-to-man press killed them early and we were able to get a quick lead.

We actually had more points then they did in the second half, but we were terrible in the first.

These guys are playing with no heart and no real intensity. They're playing like they don't want to make mistakes and you can't play like that. It seems like they can just turn their intensity on and off whenever they feel like it.

I think our chances of making the tournament are pretty good, considering two of three teams we play we've already beaten this season.

He wasn't pleased, but it was something we had to do, and I think we continued to play hard without him in there. He's got a fire deep inside, and I knew he would respond.

I'm real proud of my guys. We hung in there after we took 31 points out of the lineup, but we didn't know where to go for those points.

He's just a tremendous player and is such a naturally gifted athlete.
