We came a couple of matches away from sending three guys to state. It would have been nice to get a group of guys down there for the first time to share the experience, but they will be rooting for him.

I expect him to do well. He definitely has the ability to place, and he's worked hard to put himself into good shape for this. All that's left for him to do is go out there and do it.

I think he's got a chance to win state next year, but it's going to take a lot of hard work and effort on his part to get to that point. And he knows what he has to do.
