We'd better put some points on the board because our defense is young, ... Unfortunately they just don't have the reps and experience yet. They're going to make some mistakes. That and our special teams better be sound.

We spent nine hours today on them. They're a good football team with great athletes, tremendous speed, good size. They run the ball well and they've got a couple great receivers. Their quarterback throws the ball well and they're big up front. Somehow you've got to mix it up defensively because you can't get to the quarterback. He gets rid of the ball so quickly.

When he gets his shots within the flow of the offense, he's good.

It's a community stadium with a nice setup. It's a compliment to be invited to play in it, and it's a great stage for our kids.

That's where your upperclassmen and tri-captains step up. That's what they're supposed to do.

We're just not a good shooting team. When some teams get down double figures a couple of three's can get them right back into it but we don't shoot well from the outside so we can't come back from big deficits. But give Guilford credit. They beat us to every loose ball and out hustled us all game.
