Our defense played hard. We didn't tackle as well as we need to, but were able to get a lot of people around the football.

We knew going in that there was going to be multiple backs in there. If we had ran just two guys, I can guarantee at least one of them would have rushed for 100 yards.

Bridge City executes their game well. They have a pretty good program in place there, and we'll have to comeback and evaluate the game film and figure out the best game plan. We've got to remember that we're only as good as our last game.

I was surprised that Dayton was moved into our district. I thought that it might be Barbers Hill.

It was an important day for us because we were able to overcome our individuality and begin to focus clearly on a unified vision. We spent the day talking about the difference between an occasional winner and a champion. An occasional winner looks to success to validate the performance, but a champion looks to the performance as a validation of success.
