The thing that is most hypocritical is choosing the 75th anniversary of his birth -- the man who was the epitome of peace, perhaps the most noted African-American anti-war individual.

They're trying to woo black votes to the Republican Party, ... It's turning African-Americans off. Now everybody sees the arrogance and the hypocrisy of this administration. This is nothing personal. It's his policies -- in direct opposition to what Dr. King lived and died for.

Pebble Beach is the mecca of golf courses. It is one of the top three or four courses in the United States. For golfers, it's a real feather in their cap.

To come on his birthday ... when this president unilaterally went to war, is still engaged in war, an illegal and unjust war.

The fact is that they [Blue Man Group] brought in a law firm to fight us on negotiations and the election. Unfortunately, the law firm is very anti-union. And they have a large group of lawyers on their payroll.

That is what we think Dr. King would be speaking out against, ... For him [Bush] to try to overshadow that and photo-op and hijack our appreciation and admiration for Dr. King is just not going to be tolerated.

We expected to win tonight and it didn't happen. We were beaten by a better football team.

I was hoping if we got some guys on base, we'd catch a break, and that's what happened.

By that time the media won't be covering it, by that time folks will have forgotten about it, by that time the evacuees will become invisible again.
