It was just a pleasure to go down there with those two guys. I'm a better person for being around them. They've both meant a lot to me, and you couldn't have two better kids to go down there with.

I felt like if any kid in the state could win something like that, Clayton could. He's top-notch; they don't come any better.

I can't say enough about this whole team. With the injuries that we had, there were a lot of team and individual goals we didn't accomplish. But I have never had a better group of kids. There were no discipline problems, the team got along well, and they worked well with each other. You couldn't ask for a better group.

I can't say enough about Clayton. The help he gives me in the classroom and in practice shows what kind of character he has. He always helps his teammates. I'm going to miss having him around next year.
