Troy Simmonds is someone that we'd expect to have a stronger year now that he's 12 months into our system. Blokes like Ray Hall, Jay Schulz, Kelvin Moore - I would think that's where our natural improvement should come.

If you're looking for a quantum leap, you're looking for it from blokes who have been in the system for six or seven years, who have not really taken the game yet by a stranglehold who may have the ability to do so.

I am a bit surprised and bemused, though, that they changed the kick-out rule, but otherwise I have no issues.

We'll try to do what we can to make it back up.

We wanted to have a look at him as a forward and see how he handled himself and I thought he went all right.

I went outside and took a look and I could see it on top of the mountain.

All I am expecting him to do is get out there and compete at the level. I think he has done that over and above my expectations and getting through unscathed was another step in the right direction.

He's probably put himself into more difficult positions on the training track than what he did yesterday, but it's the first time you're playing against an opposition and that'll just come over the next few weeks.

They've made loyal fans out of us.
