We made a lot of mistakes, but the hustle and the intensity was the best I've seen all year. We were down 13 (late in the third quarter) and for us to come back on that team and actually take a lead is a testimony to our desire.

After the second half of the second Bullock game (Jan. 17), they have stepped up their intensity. They have realized the closer you get to the area tournament, the intensity level has to increase.

This is the best team I have ever had because there is not one person you can shut down. Each one has been the high-point scorer in a different ball game.

We knew coming in that we could not turn the ball over and we had to rebound. We didn't know how important free throws would be. They haven't been in the last few games, but they were tonight.

They didn't want to be the team that didn't go unbeaten in the area and they didn't want to be the team that didn't host the area tournament.
