I have a great deal of respect for the way he goes about coaching defense. His kids really do a good job of that. He's intense. He's passionate about what he does. That's how you win. I don't give a damn what sport you play.

The kids have responded and all we can do is what we can do.

The university has certainly benefited from having him around. It's going to be an unfortunate day for us when he graduates, because we will have lost his presence around here.

He's the type of guy any of us would like our sons to be like. In all my years of coaching, he is among the elite people, as well as players, that I've ever encountered.

(Torres) played a great game. He probably played the best game he's played. He hit some shots from outside. He got on a little bit of a run at the beginning of the second half. He had six points to retake the lead for them. He was very definitely a big difference in the game.
