"Stewart Bryan Cole" (born February 7, 1966 in Charlotte, North Carolina) is a former Major League Baseball player. Cole played for the Kansas City Royals in the 1991 in baseball/1991 season. In nine games, Cole had one hit in seven at-bats, with two walks. He played second base and shortstop, and batted and threw right-handed.

After managing the Double-A Tulsa Drillers from 2006–2009, Cole was named manager of the Triple-A (baseball)/Triple-A Colorado Springs Sky Sox in May 2009. He was named coach (baseball)/third base coach for the parent Colorado Rockies on November 15, 2012.

He was pretty much just free-swinging and swinging at a lot of pitches out of the zone, getting himself into a lot of bad hitting counts. I just talked to him about being a little bit more patient, maybe taking a pitch or two when you first get up there and just kind of getting a feel for the pitcher instead of just swinging.

They really haven't done a bad job. You want to give them that respect (of not arguing). You try to hold back.
