The passing that we usually do wasn't there, so I thought maybe if I hit a couple of shots my teammates would think they could do the same thing. I felt like I had to step up to get my team over the first-game hump.
We're showing people a lot right now. Nobody thought going into the season that we might even be in first place in the Seamount but that we would be the underdogs.
I'm just speechless it feels so good. Nobody thought we were going to do this at all.
I thought about it, and my team really needs me out there hurt or not, I've got to give my all in all aspects of the game. We know we have a big bulls-eye on our back. We play every game like it's the championship game.
Ever since we all made the freshman team together, we all knew we (were) going to go grow up and play with each other (on) varsity.
We make sure we get up and down the court to get the other team's big man out of the game.
Our passes get us clicking. The crowd likes the fancy passes.
My scoring and getting my team involved help these 20-point victories come.
We're so quick, we're a moving target. You can't hit the target if you can't aim. We're going to keep moving all the way to the championship game.
