We do believe this was an isolated incident with one female student, a 17 year old that was one of his students.
Officers surrounded the house, went inside and the suspect was in a bed, under the covers - he was arrested.
We encourage people to yell, scream or fight back. Oftentimes, it scares people away.

He was in a rage. And it was so random, it's random that he would come to this house, he didn't know these folks and to come in and do this much damage, it's just mean.
We have indications to believe that it was in both of their vehicles in the mall parking lot.
Sure enough, it was the suspects. As he (the officer) was getting them on the ground at gun point, one fled, got into the officer's patrol car and took off.
