It's quite an honor. We had a successful year all the way around, football and basketball. We were really just one shot away from being in Austin. It's gonna bug me until, hopefully, we're able to go past that point. Then it'll all be worth it.

We battled and battled and battled and finally got a point or two ahead. That took a lot out of us, but my kids kept fighting and kept playing hard. We were in it all the way until the last minute.

I told them to just be patient and keep doing what we do and not to get out of our element. Nazareth played a great defensive game all day, so I told them to be patient. We just needed to be sure that we got a good look.
