Hughes played very well tonight. It was his best game of the season thus far.
They were good and we were bad. We had a tough day. We weren't ready to play, and when you're not ready to play against a team like this, you lose by 10 goals.

To begin with, we were tight. We played real tense and timid today. They got up early on us, 3-0, before taking the 5-1 lead after one. We then played outstanding defense in the second period, but we weren't able to score offensively.
We played better offensively in the third period, but not defensively. We were inconsistent all over the field.
I don't like to compare the score in other games. Momentum is a key. Every sport is a game of momentum, especially lacrosse.
We're ready for our conference games. We've played eight times, and that has allowed us to address our strengths and weaknesses.
