When you don?t play well and you still win, in my opinion that?s the sign of a good team.
That's what we want. We obviously want the ball in his hands at the end of the game. He's such a competitor. It wasn't one of his better nights, but there is not a better person to have the ball.
We did a good job at keeping competitive. We hit a couple shots and they missed a couple free throws. Give credit to our kids for never quitting.
We've got a lot of guys that step up in different situations. It's not all about one or two guys.
He was dominating. With him on the bench it opened up other things for us ..We tried to put as many [defenders] around him as possible.
Jeff might have been forcing the issue a little bit [in the first half], but once he let things come to him a little bit, we did a better job setting some screens and getting him open against the zone. He's one of the best shooters around and he came up big for us in the second half.
Give it to 15 (Hoyt?s number), Give it to the guy who?s hot, feed the hot hand. Jeff?s been playing very well for us and he has one of the best shots around.
We?re playing very well right now and we?re starting to get hot.
I had a lot of confidence in these guys. I knew once we turned the corner it was a very good basketball team.
