"Daniel “Scooter” Smith" (born November 11, 1980) is a Canada/Canadian former professional ice hockey player.

Smith attended Colgate University where he captained the Colgate Raiders men's ice hockey/Colgate Raiders in the National Collegiate Athletic Association/NCAA's ECAC Hockey conference.
