Spending the entire day together lets us devote our entire evenings to our son. We had our time together, so we don't ever feel like we have to compete with him for each other's attention.

It's really not that bad, except for the days when I'm running late and trying to get ready for work, which is just about every morning. That's when the fur really flies.

Usually by lunch, it's back to being all lovey-dovey again and us not being able to wait until we can see one another again. It's definitely a love-hate relationship in the morning, though.

We get to see each other throughout the day. We e-mail each other, talk on the phone occasionally, and sometimes, when Mike gets time, he stops by my desk.
