We knew we had to take that one and we didn't.

We know (St. Elizabeth is) going to be tough. We knew that coming into this tournament, and we're going to fight with everything we have. By no means are we going to lay down and die because they're the No. 1 seed.

I know the score makes it look like a one-sided meet, but I think a couple touches could have allowed us to come close, if not win.

Having two guys that are completely fresh going into that event really helps.

It's hard to pinpoint exactly which events are going to be key because, in my opinion, they are all key. Obviously relays are going to come into play. We need to maximize our points there. Also, our outside lane swimmers need to step it up and steal some points.

We swam really tough. We just ran out of bodies at the end.

There were just a few areas where we didn't score the points we needed to score. I thought worst-case scenario (the score) would never get that high. Their guys stepped it up. I give them credit. They swam fast races across the board.
