He might have started out on a green light and didn't make it.
He was just a soft-spoken, wonderful American. Every day or night, he'd go out on his walks. (But) it's dangerous to cross on a green light, much less a red one.
Her mother heard the ambulances and sirens and she had a bad feeling, and her daughter went and just had to see her father laying on the ground. Very tragic.
They are a close family.
