He understands the problems that you have and understands the situation you're in. He knows the practical side because he's been through it.
Well, I suppose most of the places I've been we've tried to balance out what we're doing. I've always been blessed with good runners. Michael Anderson (Denver Broncos) had a pretty good game (Monday night) against the Chiefs. He was one of my guys.
He never had a problem doing his running. He usually set the pace.
Pizarro was nice and smooth. He took control of the huddle, took control of the situation so I thought he did a very good job. He made the plays when he needed to make them.
He and I have a long relationship, so it makes me happy to see him here.
I thought we got impatient in the fourth quarter where we could have done a better job of extending the lead. It should have easily been a 12-14 point ball game, but we didn't convert on some free throws.
He's got a team right now that can compete with anybody.
He really looks like the running back I remembered from when he was 11 to 12 years old.
I thought we played well on defense the last minute, minute-and-a-half. We made them turn the ball over and we were pretty effective in our full court press.
