If Bill Owens manages Nortel in a more military fashion and these other two people came from Cisco, which is creative and entrepreneurial, maybe there's a difference in approach.

This may be the last step in [Nortel's] reorganization. It's totally appropriate that they consolidate the shares to get them up to a reasonable price level.

He sounds to me like the kind of person Nortel needs. A new Nortel CEO should be top-line, sales oriented to sell to people who may be reluctant to use Nortel because of their reputation.
