He's playing solid. He had one tough game against Hillsborough (an 8-1 loss). Besides that, the goals we've been letting up have been power-play goals. If we stay out of the box, we're going to be successful.

Old Bridge is a very, very good team, but we gave them a fight, just like every team we played.

We did a lot of things well (against West Orange). We kept Jacob Simon (23 goals and 23 assists) in check.

Finally the upperclassmen have stepped up, and we've found some leadership. We've become disciplined with our penalties.

I just told the guys I definitely think we take Jay Amato for granted. He?s going to help us later on. This was just a great game for everyone.

It took a while for people to adjust to new positions.

I think that?s a major part of what we do -- take the body. I thought we were real physical, especially at the blue line. I?m real excited to play Old Bridge.

There are a lot of young guys who relied on guys like (graduated stars) Gregg Amato and Pete Carroll to carry the load in big games. We've had some other people step up.

We knew it would take five, 10 games for Ben to get back into it. When you're away from the game for a year, it's going to take you a while to get going. Now he's back where we want him to be.
