We played (our zone defense) a lot better than we had earlier in the season, as far as seeing cutters coming through the lane and defensive rebounding.
If you think about the kids we had on the floor, not many of them have much experience in a tournament like this.
Before the game we talked about this being the last game our seniors would play on their home floor regardless of (the outcome). I told them tonight was about pride and going out there and showing them what you're made of.
If we can do the job positioning ourselves (for rebounds) I think we can take the height advantage away from Notre Dame.
She was a work in progress for most of the season. Now we have her right where we want her to be.
I'm sure as our kids are over there now cutting down the net, they are thinking they can beat the world. I'm just so thrilled for our team. I can't wait to play another game.
