They rebound really well. We knew that we had to rebound well to compete with them and they just got too many looks. And then they started hitting threes and it kind of snowballed from there.

She's made three or four of those this year, I probably should just let her shoot more of them.

And once we got an open look, we tried to do too much with it. We just couldn't hit, but that was because of their defense. We played hard and did the best we could.

I think it motivates the girls to some extend, and besides we like being under the radar screen. If the wins keep coming, we'll eventually get noticed. Besides, the rankings mean nothing once the tournament starts.

We just wanted to get out of the district. We are excited to be there.

Our pressure was working on our defense. And if our defense shut them out, we can score.

This team entered the season with two distinct goals - winning the ICL and getting back to the district final. Trust me, the girls are happy and they're celebrating in their own way. But as far as we are concerned, we've just accomplished half of our goal. Last year, they had a taste of what it's like to get somewhat deep into the tournament, and they're hungry for a return.

It's been a great experience for our team and our program. It really created excitement in the community and at the schools, and it's really nice to be here.

And once they started hitting threes, we tried to come back but their defense was too great and we would only get one shot. If we're not hitting [well,] then we're in trouble.
