We converted just enough but as the play caller tonight, I was somewhat unhappy. There were balls under thrown or thrown in the wrong place. That's three touchdowns, maybe four, taken away by turnovers.

It's been the same story in all three games. We play dead in the first half and get behind. Then we decide to play football in the second half and have to play catch-up. You can't put that kind of pressure on yourself and expect to win. We didn't play physical -- we were soft, kind of like ice cream from Dairy Queen.

Absolutely. Both of us are 0-2 in the region. A win gives us the situation where we can have an opportunity to survive. We probably need it more since we have what could be considered the tougher road left.

I see football in Montgomery changing, not for the better. The excitement and enthusiasm is not the same. There are so many things the kids can do now. Football is second priority. Academics kills us. Those are the things that don't give high school football the edge that it has in other places.
