He was struggling more because we were playing him so much underneath. When we moved him out, he seemed to start playing the way he had played in the past.
We brought two freshmen up (Jeff Sinclair is the other) because we thought they could contribute right away. I could kind of see the team blending together as the season went on.
All we talked about this week was their strength and physicality inside.
All year, we've held the ball in that situation. This time it didn't go our way. I think the best team lost the game.
It kind of came as a shock. It just seems like things have snapped together. We just wanted to get back to winning. We really didn't have any idea because we really don't have a big guy, plus with being so young.
We have a little different theory about when teams get runs on us. We like to keep it up tempo and tire teams out.
It was hard; my sister died of the same thing. The kids really came together as a team. It was a nice thing to see.
We have been coming on. But with the kind of team we have, it's a day-to-day thing. We can play with people, but we can lose to anyone.
