Wellington look like they're hitting their straps at the moment. We're on the up, but they are too. It's got all the makings of another big clash.

They played really well but we are not panicking about it.

It's been frustrating, really. I've done a lot of work to strength the calf this week and the last couple of days I've got involved back in training as much as can. But it feels all right, so I'm going to give it a crack. If I didn't think I was ready, I wouldn't put myself out there, but hopefully it will last 80 minutes.

Early in the game it was a bit messy. It didn't quite click but we finally got going and these five points could be valuable at the other end of the season.

That's just the way it's worked out, really. We haven't tried to pace ourselves or anything. We go into each game at the start of the season trying to win it and start with some good quality rugby and just build from there.

I have had a genuine break and been able to do some good work conditioning-wise. I'm really looking forward to the rest of the season.

We got the five points okay but it was pretty ugly and it took a long time to get going.

We came 10th and never really fired that year for whatever reason.
