They went out and played harder than us. They attacked us all game. I was disappointed we didn't have a run at the end.
I loved watching that. They haven't beaten Alabama in a good while. Then to go out there and beat them on the home court - it was special.
They were contesting. But really, it was just us missing.
We were struggling for our lives.
I've been more comfortable with my offense, so (the coaches) have been working with me on my defense. Things like not getting beat off the dribble. I've still got a long way to go, but I understand what they need from me.
He just told us the truth. He was calm, just telling us what we were doing wrong and what we were doing right, how it is and how we need to play. Then we went out and did it.
It's hard to believe that we could have been the first ones from our school and from Jackson. It would have been nice, but it's hard. Everything has to go right.
