It's exciting. More importantly the team is doing well and hopefully I've done enough to stick around and can fill the void when Dominik (Hasek) can't play.

It just kind of worked out that over the course of the past three years, I played a couple of games here and there and I had a great team in front of me all the time so I reeled off nine kind of without recognizing it until the end of it.

It's cool to say that you have an NHL record and it's something that I'll remember.

No disrespect to anyone. I just didn't know where the flag was.

It was a big game for him. It was no big deal for us, but for him it was. Maybe for him it's good to get it behind him.

Starting out, you just want to make a good impression and play your best.

They got a good team. We got ahead with our special teams at the start of the game and from then on it was a battle both ways.

I think he was a little surprised the puck came right out to him. He had to take a step back before he could shoot, and I was able to get more set for the shot.

I'm as competitive as they come. I was well aware that the Big Guy (Dominik Hasek) was 3-0 and I wanted to do my part, too.
