My mom has a shelf for my trophies in our dining room. This is special. It's going right on the top shelf ... in the center.

We have been here a couple of times. We know what it takes to win at this level.

I know a lot of people from Mansfield had been getting it, and I thought it might come down tonight to me or (Brandon) Speck. I knew we'd each play hard and that the game would probably decide it.

I think the first quarter determined the game. We jumped out to a big lead and then, as the game went on, we began to lose our focus a little bit. We have got to stay focused for all 32 minutes.

I think that's because we heard what the record was at halftime and we were drilling too hard for that record and the record for total points (150). (The North) started coming back, slowly but surely. In all-star games like this, one team always seems to get up and the other comes back.

None of it would have been possible without them. Those are individual awards, but they belong to my teammates as much as they belong to me.

We've got to regroup and get ready for the tournament. It's better to lose now than next week (in the sectional). Hopefully, everybody will bounce back next week. We've got no choice.

We finally started making some plays in the second half. Nobody was making shots in the first half. We just picked up our intensity and started rebounding the basketball.
