There was no apparent motive for the attack. It doesn't seem related to religion.
They had in their possession uniforms similar to the company that transports money around Montreal. [Police] found a big amount of money. They found a fake gun. They found ammunition, real ammunition, inside the house.
It was actually pretty well set up, I would say. But obviously they made a mistake and were caught.
It might have been a hate crime in this case.
