You've got to play to your strengths. You've got to make plays, and we made just enough to get by.

We really stepped it up and the kids played great team ball. All five starters made big contributions.

We tried to put together as good a card as possible. Teams like it because it's a good midseason test, and if you lose, you don't have to worry about it because it's not a region game.

We made some adjustments and put more pressure on the ball. The big thing was to maintain what we were doing and we did.

It was no surprise at all. Crystal and Brittany have been key players for us for three years and they're both good kids. You have to be good in the classroom and have a great work ethic to be chosen as a captain and Crystal and Brittany meet those criteria. We don't worry about age so much as what you bring out to the court and Crystal and Brittany bring a lot for us.

Crystal Davis decided she was going to find a way to make us win a game (Friday) night.

Marietta was playing a 1-2-2 zone and we had trouble adjusting to it. They did a great job. We just didn't recognize it. They threw some things at us that we didn't recognize.

We played unselfish basketball. The girls were willing to give up the basketball and move the ball around.

We knew it was not a sure thing, so we did what we needed to do for the win. There's still some things we need to work on, but we did what we needed to do.
