We played pretty well defensively. Sarah Wilson handled nine chances flawlessly they just got on a bit of a roll in the middle innings.

It wasn't the prettiest sight at times, but we'll certainly take it. I think we're just a bit tired, and it showed out there toward the end.

Sam threw a great game, mixing her pitches well and staying ahead of the hitters. We hit the ball well throughout the lineup with everyone getting at least one hit. We got the early lead and never let up, which was good to see.

It was a well-played game on both sides. It was a somewhat frustrating game for us because we hit a lot of balls hard, but right at the defense.
