The girls played with intensity, and this is what we needed to go into playing Lanesville.
You need to show her why you're all-state in cross country.
We made a nice little run right there. The girls really stepped up when they needed to.
We wanted to come out with some intensity, and we were able to jump on them 11-0 before they could call their first timeout. I'm not sure how far into the game it got before they could shoot the ball.
We did make it hard on her. She got winded early but she got a second wind. As you could tell late, her shot was off.
It makes it special to knock them (the Jeeps) off. It gave us a little extra incentive.
That's the best five minutes we've played all year.
It's going to be a culture shock for these girls to walk in here. The first time they're going to see the floor is when they actually walk out there to play. But we're all in the same situation as far as that goes, so we'll just have to deal with it.
Every one of them feels great.
