I think, operationally, this was a great quarter. I don't consider it a miss.

They already have 80 percent market share, where are they going to go from here but down?

It looks like they're shuffling deck chairs for the family. Given that this company is a family dynasty, I don't think it signals any major changes.

Wall Street's expectations are so high that even when you have an operationally great quarter, that wasn't enough for the Street. There's nothing wrong here.

There has been such negative sentiment around Amazon that just making the quarter and giving basically in-line guidance is going to be seen as positive.

Both stocks are expensive on any traditional value measures.

If the deal is done, it won't be for much more than the current price. I don't think anybody's going to pay up to $40 (per share).
