Now, we're seeing 9,000 to 10,000 people per day, so the economic impact has to be even greater. We know that virtually every motel room and camping spot in the area, including Sweet Home, Lebanon and Albany, is booked during the Jamboree.

We don't have the final figures yet, but we will easily top the previous record of just under $200,000, which came in 2003.

I don't think there was one person in the house who wasn't moved by that.

Other than the hot temperatures it was an excellent festival.
