We will continue to work with county and airport officials to try to find common ground on these issues, ... But, given Mr. Walden's advice regarding the limited ability of the town to take unilateral action on these issues, I don't believe further Town Council action is necessary at this time.

The town staff and our consultants are working aggressively to complete the final preparations for the multiple, significant beach nourishment projects we will construct this winter.

After Frances and Jeanne, Scott and his crews provided invaluable service to the town, doing literally anything that needed to be done related to debris removal and the restoration of our green spaces. Throughout the recovery effort, depending on our needs at any particular time, Scott was both a willing soldier and an effective leader.
