We got good pitching in both games. There was one shakey inning against Hanks, but other than that we were throwing strikes and getting outs.

These kids are going to be successful. Win or lose, life's going to keep kicking you down and you've got to keep getting up. They battled the whole game. The kids were ready to play. I've got no complaints about them whatsoever.

We needed to see a lot of stuff. We started a whole different lineup from the other night. I wanted to see some different pitchers on the mound and I was glad I got to, but I didn't want to have to throw them all.

I think he's still growing a little bit, and once he gets used to throwing in more pressure situations, he will be better.

We hit a few hard right at them. The strikeouts were a lack of discipline on his balls in the dirt. (Justice) understood where the strike zone was and used it. We were too content to argue with the umpire rather than make adjustments.
