We started well, but I knew the game wasn't over. Beavercreek really took it to us in the third period, and fortunately, our goalkeeper (Serif) stood on his head to keep us in it.

We had to bring our lunch pails against two very good teams. Everyone contributed.

We played a tough schedule against the top teams from all over Pennsylvania and Ohio. I think it helped us get as far as we did in the district tournament.

We took penalties that we normally don't take. When you've got a short bench and you have to kill penalties, it's hard to get much momentum going. We wanted to conserve energy and make Upper Arlington use up a lot of their energy, not the other way around.

They have a good goalkeeper and a couple of other good players. (McClure) is probably their best player, and they play their top line every other shift.

We're kind of thin back there, so we need to be disciplined and help our defensemen out to avoid odd-man breaks. Bryan's playing real well, but we have to keep their shots down to a minimum.
