We clearly dominated the game and tempo. We were just off target (on penalty kicks) again.

These guys work real hard together and have been willing to take on new roles for the benefit of the team. The team is unselfish and stands behind one another. Even with all the injuries we are constantly having people step up and answer the call.

The second half I tried out a few new looks.

I'm not surprised at all by how we played. We have a lot of talent this year, and it's great to open the season against a team like Fenwick. You are able to find out right away where you stand.

They did not quit (after Prospect scored). I've seen Oak Park teams drop their heads when that happened in the past. They lifted each other up and rose to the challenge. That type of attitude will take them far in soccer and life.

[But when those two managed to find an opening, Gullo slammed the door each time.] He's one of the best goalies in the area, ... This is just the beginning of what I think is going to be a great season for him.

I worked with several of the (players) on PKs and we thought we were money on the PKs. In regulation we are 3-0-2.

I was very happy with a lot of things, ... It's only one game, but it's a great way to start the season.

As long as any memorial put on the mountain is just a plaque or a stone with a name on it, I can't see any problem with that.
